Students aged 14-16 years
Qualification gained: RSL Level 2 Certificate in Creative and Performing Arts
Course Length: 1 year - 120 Guided learning hours
Course days and times: Tuesday 6.10pm - 7.40pm and Saturday 12.50pm - 2.20pm
Course Leaders: Fiona Wyatt and Caroline Hedges
Units covered: Ensemble Dance performance and Live Performance.
Entry requirements: A strong interest in dance. Preferably having taken or currently taking weekly dance classes.
Course cost: £300 for the year + £25 registration fee.
Dancers undertake an externally assessed core unit (Live Performance), which requires learners to work to a brief, specific to the area of specialism. In addition you will take 1 further unit (Ensemble Dance Performance) that will develop your performance, creative or technical skills within dance.
